AI inventory

An AI inventory is a complete, current record of the AI systems an organisation uses, with an owner and a risk classification for each one.

Why it matters

Every other governance question depends on it. You cannot classify, control or report on a system you do not know exists, which is why regulators and enterprise customers ask for the inventory first.

A spreadsheet inventory is out of date the week after it is compiled. New tools appear, vendors switch on AI features inside software you already license, and teams build their own agents. An inventory is only useful if it is rebuilt continuously from evidence.

How Qastel handles it

Qastel builds the inventory continuously from your identity, network, AI-provider and agent-platform connectors, merges every sighting of the same tool into one record, and keeps an owner and a risk score on each system.
