Be the technical expert in front of our customers: run the technical demos, connect Qastel to their real systems, manage their pilots and turn what they tell you into product requirements.
About the role
Before a large company commits to Qastel, it needs to see it work with its own identity provider, its security tools and its device fleet. You are the person who shows them, from the first technical demo to a pilot running in their environment.
You will work with our Head of Sales on every deal and with the customer's security and IT teams every day during a pilot. Your work shortens the path from a first meeting to a signed contract.
What you learn on site comes back to the product. You will write down what customers need, with enough detail for engineering to build it, and build the smaller pieces yourself.
What you will do
- Run technical demos and answer the technical questions of security and IT buyers
- Integrate Qastel into customer infrastructure: connectors, desktop agent, browser extension, first policies
- Manage pilots from kick-off to decision, with clear success criteria
- Translate a customer's AI charter into policies, and test them in observation mode before they block anything
- Turn customer feedback into product requirements the engineering team can build from
- Write the scripts and integrations a deployment needs, and the guides other customers and partners will follow
- Answer the technical part of security questionnaires and requests for proposal
Your first six months
You have taken several customers from a first demo to a pilot in production
A standard deployment follows a written guide and takes days
Several product improvements shipped because of requirements you wrote
Who we are looking for
- Experience as a solutions engineer, sales engineer or forward deployed engineer for enterprise software
- You know enterprise IT: Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Google Workspace, network security tools
- You write scripts and code, and you read an API's documentation without help
- You explain a technical product clearly to a CISO and to an administrator
- You stay calm in a customer's environment when something does not work
- Fluent in French and English, based in Paris, with travel to customer sites
Nice to have
- Experience with security or endpoint software in large organisations
- Experience in a regulated sector
- Experience working with consulting firms or integrators
